Recently it has been getting harder and harder to find nonGMO products. Even my favorite food that was always sold out is no longer being stocked by my local retailers. This is getting really annoying. Even the small retailers in my region are no longer stocking them. I spoke with the owner of an Amish store and he stated that they are dropping a lot of the brands cause they are always out of stock. Recently I just decided to take the route that most people would refuse to do. I decided to start grocery shopping online … I have always thought that this was a really dumb concept, apart from the time that I lived in CT and could order my groceries online, get them delivered a few days later and the doorman would actually put the perishable items away for me (he was always tipped well lol) while I was at work. I just couldn’t bring myself to ordering food and get them delivered. And then you run the risk of getting scammed or ripped off by some deceptive merchant selling GMO as NONGMO. So I decided to give it a try. I found a few sites and then went over to the BBB site and checked the merchant’s score. Then I went to a few online review sites to make sure once again that their online reputation was solid and they weren’t scam artists. After clearing both the BBB and online review sites I decided to place an order withhttp://www.vitacost.com and some meats from  http://www.homesteadnaturalmeats.com/. I later found out that Amazon sells NONGMO food, who would have thought lol. I was surprised to find that the prices were extremely low and there was free shipping over $50. The selection was great and now I’m hooked. I just wish there was a wider selection. I am still shocked at the fact that there are only a handful of online retailers providing NONGMO products online. Hopefully more will come on-board cause I am hooked on ordering groceries online!
